In addition, evaluations and reviews of both new and existing energy and industrial facilities to prepare comprehensive reports and calculations in support of assessing proposed system designs, upgrades, modifications, and equipment/system replacements.- Lead process engineering design efforts on multi-disciplined project design team- Responsible for the production of engineering calculations/analyses, design drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.  Ensure that calculations and deliverables are technically sound and in accordance with project requirements.- Support hazard and safety analyses - Support risk management analyses.- Monitor the work of assigned staff on technical matters pertinent to project assignments; Maintain assigned tasks within schedule and budget to fit the needs of the projects- Use effective written and oral communication skills to convey information to project team members and managers- Present written technical information in a clear and concise manner in all deliverables- Prepare reports and deliverables that are clearly understood and meet client requirements; Communicate clearly in meetings with client and summarizes meeting notes in a clear and timely manner- Perform radiation shielding analyses in support of nuclear facility clients in MicroShield - Perform system reliability analysis using fault trees, event trees, and reliability block diagrams using BlockSim or similar software.- Perform work under an NQA-1 quality assurance program. - Provide technical guidance to project team members- Attend project meetings and perform field walkdowns- May mentor new engineers
