    Sargent & Lundy provides comprehensive consulting, engineering, design, and analysis for electric power generation, power delivery projects, and related services worldwide.


    We are seeking an AAP/Compliance Specialist who will collaborate with staff members and external business partners with the overall responsibility for the firm’s creation, oversight, and administration of the firm’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action (AA) plans and Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements.


    • Apply expert knowledge in providing input to the creation and management of Affirmative Action Plans and EEO-1 reports to ensure organizational compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action laws, as well as other applicable government contracting laws and requirement.
    • Responsible for EEO-1 and VETS reporting.
    • Evaluate progress toward meeting AAP goals.
    • Track and manage outreach to Veterans, Disabled and other Diversity groups.
    • Prepare reports related to employment transactions as necessary for Affirmative Action Plan preparation and analysis.  
    • Compile and prepare HR-related status reports as requested.
    • Handle special Human Resources projects as assigned.
    • Occasional travel.

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
    • Prior experience creating EEO-1, AA & Vets plans.
    • 5 or more years of HR experience in compliance.
    • Knowledge of government contracting requirements including SCAs
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly analyze data.
    • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
    • Function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • HR certification preferred.
