We are currently seeking a QA Engineer at our Chicago office.
This position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in engineering by providing technical support in a professional services environment. You will work with project teams on such diverse activities as problem identification and resolution, support during the procurement of engineered products and materials, technical assistance during quality audits and self-assessment activities.
You will work with experienced specialists who will mentor and train you in the execution of meaningful technical services assignments. Along with on-the-job training, you will be invited to attend a variety of interesting technical training sessions designed to increase your knowledge and skills in your engineering discipline.
Specific tasks include assisting with the development and execution of project quality plans including developing procedures and associated training. . You will also conduct oversight activities relating to the effective implementation of the firm's Quality Assurance Program. Other duties of the position include the control of purchased items and services, verification of effective corrective action, data analysis and trending, root cause analysis.
Willingness to travel is required. Willingness to accept short-term field assignments at client locations is desirable.
