Due to continued growth, our Construction Support Services Division is seeking a full time temporary Construction Manager of Transmission Line Projects to join their team in its Hamilton, New Jersey office.

Primary Responsibility:
Perform overall construction management of the installation of a 69kV to 765kV transmission line or perform overall construction coordination and QA/QC of a 69kV to 765kV transmission line project.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Walkdown of existing or new transmission line right-of-ways
• Constructability analysis
• Prepare and/or review of construction drawings and specifications
• Prepare and update the following: project specific schedules; project specific progress reports; project specific daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Monitor and review of construction installation
• Lead project construction meetings and discussions
• Provide feedback on lessons learned to construction and engineering

Essential skills and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years experience in transmission line construction or engineering in the power industry.
• Ability and willingness to work at project sites and relocate periodically.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others on project related activities.
• Project planning and scheduling skills.
