Essential skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field plus 4 years of experience in project controls, project planning, project scheduling, project management, or related field.
Must have employment experience with:
Using Microsoft Excel to create and maintain detailed, interactive spreadsheets, workbooks, and databases used for tracking complex electrical generation projects, creating ad-hoc reports, and preparing recovery plans when performance is below client expectations;
Performing project scheduling, cost engineering, and project controls methods and tools, including Primavera P6;
Utilizing scheduling software, including Primavera P6, to perform complex procedures, including detailed resource loading and leveling, claim support, budget tracking, earned value monitoring, forecasting, force majeure delays, and change orders;
Using finance and accounting systems for internal and external cost tracking and labor hour reporting;
Utilizing Power BI to perform project reporting and visualization, communicate exceptions on projects, run meetings using source data, and present analytics in support of programs.
